2019 Granny's Angels Scholarship
2019 Granny's Angels Scholarship
Granny's Angels scholarship is a one-time annual scholarship awarded in the amount of $1,000 established by a team of young women to honor the legacy of their pioneering grandmothers to provide community support. The award is provided to a local Johnston County high school senior. Recipients are selected based on stewardship of their communities, essays, academics, program creation, extra-curricular activity, and desire to give back once they have completed college.
In the past, we have shared information but do not feel the message is reaching the other area high schools so we are taking a different approach this year working with SSS and/or West Johnson to give others the opportunity. However, feel free to apply in case we do not receive applications from these schools.
